COMMISSIONS

Agents are paid 30% of the net revenue.

Once you bring on a customer, we will do the rest while you use your time and talent to find new customers! We will ensure that your customer is contacted by Inside Sales Account Agents to maximize the number of loads moved weekly. The team at Miller Logistics has structured our operations to maximize opportunities with our current customers, which maximizes your earning potential.

PAYMENT OF COMMISSIONS

Agent commissions are processed bi-weekly. An electronic fund transfer is initiated on a Friday and will show deposited in your account the following Monday or Tuesday.

CARRIER RELATIONSHIPS

Miller Logistics understands the importance of good customer service on both ends of brokerage. Covering your freight with the right carrier at a competitive rate is an area of critical attentiveness among our staff. We ensure that we maintain sound relationships with our carriers in a number of ways. First, through fast payment: Miller Logistics has been awarded the recognition of Gold Book Broker, meaning we pay our carriers within 30 days every time! In addition, creating and maintaining sound relationships between carriers and brokers through attentiveness to carrier needs. Lastly, by offering them the services that best fit their needs through communicating available loads online and through notification by lane history. In turn, we retain the best carriers in the business, with reputations for on-time pick ups and deliveries and an extremely low percentage of claims. We ensure that EVERY load given to Miller Logistics is covered by the right carrier!

TECHNOLOGY

Operating Systems: Miller Logistics agents may have access to our logistics management system via internet to check on load status, etc.

Reports: There are many reports available through our logistics management system on line. Reports such as Customer Lane History and Customer Inquiry by State among others will help you more effectively manage your customers.

Mileage and Routing Software: Miller Logistics agents have access to PC miler software, which is recognized by major shippers and manufacturers in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Our mileage software allows you to route from point to point giving you accurate practical and or shortest mileage between each point and the final destination. It can also calculate the mileage from one origin to many final destinations with one input.

EDI: Miller Logistics has met the increasing demand from large manufacturers and distributors requiring Electronic Data Interchange capabilities to streamline the logistics processes. Presenting EDI capabilities to your current and future customer base puts you another step ahead of the competition for securing the larger accounts.

SALES SUPPORT

The management of Miller Logistics continually works to see that each member of our team is equipped for success. We offer inside sales support as well as support through an active marketing program. You will be provided with business cards, letterhead, sales brochures and mailing materials as you need them. We have also put together a sales package both in print and in pdf form which is tailored to your business so that you can email it to prospective customers.
